We at Pratham BC Foundation, a registered charitable foundation established in Vancouver, British Columbia, are an enthusiastic group of people from all walks of life inspired by a common vision: to make a difference in the lives of those children most in need by empowering them with the ultimate gift of literacy!Registered in the province of British Columbia as a Non-Profit Organization, Pratham BC Foundation was born from the culmination of several people in the Greater Vancouver area who observed, scrutinized and understood how the Pratham organization (already established in India and the United States of America) had proven, with established real-world results, that illiteracy - and the many human atrocities it perpetuates - can be eradicated using a very low-cost and scalable model that everyone can participate in.
