Kerala cultural activity centre (KCA), Khartoum, Sudan is a non profit, non religious and non political cultural organization working towards the improvement of the social life style of Keralites (Malayalees) residing in Sudan especially in and around Khartoum.Based in Khartoum, this organization will work with the Keralite community and strive to play a part in promoting the Kerala heritage and traditions in this foreign soil. This association will aim to host and celebrate traditional festivals of Kerala and organize family get-togethers, cultural and sporting events.An organization with the primary objective for experts working here in Sudan in various spheres to meet each other periodically and to convey their grievances and to share the happiness, endeavors to bring a smile to every Indians life in Sudan through the activities of the association by celebrating all major festivals we Indians are proud of, even in a small way.Kerala cultural activity centre (KCA) founded by expatriates from the State of Kerala was formed in the year 2001. The association was formed with the primary objective of providing a forum for experts working in various sectors in Sudan to meet each other periodically, exchange views, convey the grievances and to share their happiness.Though we started essentially with a group of Keralites in Sudan, at this moment we are proud to say that we have people from other states than Kerala too as its members. The association over past 10 years from a small group of 25 members has grown in stature and size and today we are proud to declare that it has over 500 active members.
