Sreedivya Chandrasekharan

Sreedivya Chandrasekharan born in a traditional and cultural family who started learning the divine arts at the tender age of just five and completed her BA degree examination (in south Indian classical dance) from Sri Sankaracharya Sanskrit University in First Rank. From the same University, she completed her MA degree in Bharatanatyam in the year 2009. She had rigorous training under renowned Gurus Smt. Kalamandalam Leelamma , Smt. Kalamandalam Prasheeja & Dr. R.L.V.Venugopal & is their desciple. She Performed Bharatanatyam/Mohiniyattam Recitals at various places in India including Chidambaram Temple, Kalur Mookambika Temple & MeenakshiTemple & Guruvayoor Temple. She started her own dance institution in India in the name of "Sarga Academy of Performing Arts" with a view to mould young talented students in the classical dances in its pure traditional style. At present there are about 100 young students enrolled in this institution. She is now in Dubai with a view to teach the various forms of south indian dance.
