We are a non-profit student organization serving the Indian community at Rhode Island. Our common goal is to promote Indian culture and diversity in and outside URI, and to provide a platform for interaction between all students of Indian and foreign origin and sharing the cultural heritage of India.URI Indian Student Association is one of the most active international student organizations on campus. We are actively involved in organizing cultural and social events on campus throughout the year. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for Indian students to interact and share the joy of the culture and heritage, and to help new students coming from India. ISA serves to promote the awareness of cultural diversity on campus by organizing cultural and social events on campus. Throughout the year, ISA conducts several events including DIWALI Nite, Independence Day festivities, apart from screening Indian movies and taking part in international events on campus.
