Living and working miles away from the motherland in a different environment among new people and adapting to various cultures can be whole new experience. Studying and living in the university can infact be made more pleasurable in the fraternity of fellow country men and women - in an atmosphere that tends to create a feeling of home away from home. We, the members of the ISO greatly strive to bring about this sense of family among all the students and also provide assistance to all the "newbies" arriving each semester to the university.The ISO is not just an organization, but is more a community of people hailing from diversified backgrounds and cultures working hard to create a sense of unity in the diversity - an aspect of India which is well known for ages. The Indian Students Organisation would be the platform to provide an opportunity for the members of the Indian community in South Carolina to interact and share the joy of their rich culture and heritage with each other.
