The BCASA was formed on 1st July 2005, reflecting the aspirations of its members to proactively represent the unique culture and heritage of Bengal. It is in keeping alive the philosophies of love, compassion and togetherness prevalent in Bengal that we become better citizens of the world. The objective of BCASA is to organise cultural and social events for the benefit of its members. The BCASA also has the long term vision to be a bridge or a point of resource for anyone seeking information about Bengal, Bengali culture and traditions.
