Southern California Gujarati Cultural Society (SCGCS)
SCGCS was formally established in 1971 in Los Angeles, California as non-profit organization. It is one of the oldest Indian organizations in California that has survived the test of time. It started as a small organization and had now grown to be more than 400 members (families). Besides offering a social venue, SCGCS prides it self in providing opportunities for all of its members to share the Indian culture. SCGCS annual schedule of events includes Holi, Ram Navmi, Summer Picnic, Sports Day, Group Camping, Annual Cultural Program, Navratri Raas Garba, and a Diwali Dinner.
