Indian Students Association at the University of Victoria
The Indian Students Association at the University of Victoria is a student-run organization. It was formed in 2005 by a couple of Undergraduate and Graduate Indian students to celebrate and spread Indian culture, and unite Indians; both local and internationl. We strive to create a social network amongst the Indian community on campus and give them an opportunity to continue enjoying typically Indian customs and traditions, here in the Canada. We organise events to celebrate Indian festivals like Diwali, Holi etc. We also hold other events like Sports Meets, Movie Nights, and group outings. Since the inception of our association, our bi-monthly Movie Night event has been a great success in uniting our student members and the local Indian community. All of the association's activities are made possible by students who volunteer their time and effort. If you would like to be part of the ISA please contact any Executive Member.
